Hoyle's small classic go set (ceramic stones with go board)

£60.00

Hoyle's small classic go set gives you a complete game of go in a compact form. A flat beech board carries a 9x9 playing area, the size most teachers recommend for learning, paired with proper ceramic stones that click satisfyingly as they land. A sensible starting point for anyone taking up go, and a tidy set for a small table or for taking along to a club night. Key details: • Flat beech go board with a 9x9 playing area • 8.5mm ceramic stones, 45 black and 45 white • Two lidded woven go stone containers • Medium and large versions of this set are also available Players take turns placing a stone on an intersection, surrounding empty space and cutting off the opponent's groups. On a 9x9 board a game runs short enough to fit into a lunch break, which is exactly why it is the board most people learn on. Buy Hoyle's small classic go set online from Cookes Games.
