Cyclades: Legendary Edition

£70.00

Cyclades: Legendary Edition gathers the development and conquest game and its expansions into one box, set across the mythological Greek islands. Each round you bid for the favour of six gods, Ares, Poseidon, Zeus, Athena, Apollo and the newly added Hera, and whoever wins an auction takes that god's action. For strategy groups who like tight auctions and direct conflict, and for players who want one definitive edition rather than a shelf of expansions. Key details: • Players: 2-6 • Age: 13+ • Play time: around 90 minutes • Designers: Bruno Cathala and Ludovic Maublanc • Publisher: Hachette Board Games UK • Contents: modular board tiles, wooden armies, fleets, mythical creatures and heroes, player screens and boards, tokens, markers and a rulebook • Modes: classic for 3-5 players, team play for 4 or 6, plus a refined two-player mode Bidding is where the game lives. You may only want Poseidon for the fleets, but so does the player beside you, and the money you spend outbidding them is money you cannot spend on the creature that would have won you the round. Buy Cyclades: Legendary Edition online from Cookes Games and take your turn courting the gods.
