Hamburg folding backgammon set: Walnut veneer

£215.00

The Hamburg folding backgammon set is a handmade 19 inch board in hevea wood, finished on the outside with a decorative walnut veneer laid in a ray pattern. It folds shut like a case, so the whole game closes up neatly with the pieces inside. One for players who want a proper wooden board rather than a fold-out card one, and it doubles as a handsome gift or a piece worth leaving out on a side table. Key details: • Handmade hevea wood board with a walnut veneer exterior • Bearing off trays at both ends of the playing area • Two pairs of 16mm dice and a doubling cube • A set of 34mm wooden counters • Two wooden dice shakers • Folded size: 50.5 x 31 x 5.5cm; open: 50.5 x 62cm • Made in China Set the counters on the points, rattle the shakers and play a standard match, using the doubling cube when you fancy your position. The bearing off trays keep finished counters tidy, and everything packs back inside when you fold the board. Buy the Hamburg folding backgammon set in walnut veneer online from Cookes Games.
