£23.00

Splendor: The Silk Road is an expansion that sends the familiar gem trade east along the great trade route. It adds two new modules, letting merchants fight over prosperous cities with their own victory conditions and set up trading posts that hand out lasting special abilities. Made for existing Splendor owners who want fresh angles on a game they already know, and it suits 2 to 4 players from age 10 upwards. Key details: • Expansion: the Splendor base game is required to play • Players: 2-4 • Age: 10+ • Play time: 30 minutes • Contents: 7 double-sided city tiles • Contents: 20 trading post tiles in 5 types, 4 copies of each • Contents: 1 noble tile and a rulebook Slot in one module or both. Cities change what winning looks like, so the usual race for prestige has to bend around them, while trading posts reward players who commit early to a particular type of gem and build an engine around it.
