Tichu

£30.00

Tichu is a partnership climbing card game built on bold calls and perfect timing. You and your partner sit opposite each other and try to shed your hands first, playing singles, pairs, full houses and straights, then dropping a bomb when the moment is right. Declaring Tichu or Grand Tichu before the round wins big, or costs you dearly. Best suited to four players who like a game with a high skill ceiling: card game regulars, trick taking fans, and groups who happily play the same title for years. Key details: • Players: 4, in two partnerships • Play time: 30 to 60 minutes • Contents: two complete 56 card decks • 4 special cards: the Dragon, the Phoenix, the Mah Jong and the Dog • Detailed rulebook included A round starts with a pass of cards to your partner, and from there every play is a signal. Do you break up a strong combination to help your partner go out first, or hold the Dragon back to seize a fat trick later? The four special cards bend the usual rules just enough to keep experienced players guessing. Buy Tichu online from Cookes Games and find out why it has kept a devoted following for decades.
