The CATAN 6th Edition 5-6 Player Expansion opens the island up to two more settlers, with extra terrain, resources and building pieces plus a simple turn-taking rule that keeps everyone involved between their own turns. For households and groups who regularly outnumber the base box. This is an extension and the CATAN base game is required, matched to the 6th Edition components. Key details: • Players: 5-6 (requires the CATAN base game) • Age: 10+ • Play time: around 90-120 minutes • Publisher: Asmodee • Contents: 11 unique terrain tiles, 2 sea frame pieces, 28 numbered tokens, 25 resource cards, 9 development cards, 2 player sets in green and brown, 15 wooden settlements, 15 wooden cities, 30 wooden roads and an instructions booklet • Compatible with the CATAN 6th Edition base game • Language: English The board grows wider, so good spots go faster and trades get noisier. The added building phase between rounds means the players waiting their turn can still place a road or settlement rather than sitting idle.
